  • “Tomorrow
    we are
    bones and ash,
    the roots of weeds
    poking through
    our skulls.
    Today,
    simple clothes,
    empty mind,
    full stomach,
    alive, aware,
    right here,
    right now.
    Drunk on music,
    who needs wine?
    Come on,
    Sweetheart,
    let’s go dancing
    while we’ve
    still got feet.”

Know what’s real fucked? Every other age group has the correct aged actors representing them except teenagers. Adults play adults - children play children; but teenagers are played by more adults. Why? Because apparently our body changes from puberty are too ugly for TV. So what happens? We go through those years looking at the perfect “teenagers” and wondering why we don’t look like that.

Found this on youtube. Apologize if someone else already posted this on here but I haven’t seen it and this NEEDS TO BE SEEN. Seriously. Everyone needs to watch this and share it. This is not okay.

Here are some things to remember about this situation: It started when a white woman got mad that black kids were in the neighborhood pool and she began throwing racist taunts at a young black teen. She then ATTACKED this teenage girl. This is why the cops were called. What you see next is honestly NUTS. This crazy mf starts rolling around like he’s tryna be a badass Avenger or goddamn Rambo, running around like like a total weirdo, screaming and swearing at kids, whining about how he’s hot in the uniform, and then he basically begins detaining and manhandling literally every kid of color he comes across. There are TONS of white kids milling around, watching, clumped in groups, and the kid filming is white. Remember how cops hate being filmed? Well, not when it’s a white kid, apparently. And then the cop starts handcuffing black teens for literally no reason and yelling at some black girls to walk away. They start walking away and he decides that he’s SuperNinjaCop or something and begins throwing around a 110-pound 14-year-old black girl in a bikini like she’s a pro-wrestler hiding several tons of weapons under her clothes. He then yanks out a gun and starts waving it around like a hooligan when some other kids freak out as he SITS on this poor girl. EVEN HIS COP BUDDIES TRY TO RESTRAIN HIM WHEN HE PULLS THE GUN OUT. Literally all his fellow cops are standing around being chill and this guy is going wild. Apparently, the punishment for sassing a cop is now having a gun pulled out and pointed at you. The girl is crying and freaking out and is clearly terrified and he’s acting like she’s Godzilla.

This whole situation is out of control. The white adult who assaulted the minor isn’t the one getting arrested, no, it’s tons of POC kids getting handcuffed and dragged around and sat on. You know there’s an issue when even the white kids watching the situation admit, “Yeah, the only kids getting cuffed were black, Mexican, or Arab. This is wrong.” Here’s a quick summary of what happened with multiple videos

what the actual fuck!!! I fucking hate this

SHOUT OUT TO EVERYONE WHO STILL TRIES TO GET BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS AFTER DEPRESSION HIT THEM HARD. THERE ISN’T ENOUGH RECOGNITION FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THAT THEY’RE GOING TO LOSE INTEREST AND MOTIVATION AGAIN BUT PUSH THEMSELVES TO DO STUFF ANYWAYS. YOU ARE FIGHTING A DAILY BATTLE WITH YOUR OWN THOUGHTS AND YOU’RE STILL COMING OUT ON TOP, YOU’RE ALL BRAVE AS FUCK
